About the Job
Oversees daily production activities, ensuring manufacturing processes are efficient, safe, and on schedule. They translate production plans into finished goods by managing workflow, scheduling, WIP inventory and resource allocation while leveraging real-time data for decision-making.

Production Monitoring: Tracking work orders, managing schedules, controlling inventory in WIP, ensuring shop supplies are available and reducing idle time for machines and employees.
Workflow Optimization: Using data streamline operations and identify bottlenecks.
Personnel Management: Training, supervising, and empowering staff to meet safety and production targets.
Quality Control: Ensuring products meet standards and reducing waste.
Reporting: Providing regular reports on to senior management

Technical Proficiency: Ability to use wire processing equipment/manufacturing machines. These are machines used in the production of wire harnesses - i.e. crimp tools, automated terminal applicators, pneumatic crimp tools, etc.
Leadership: Strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage teams and handle rapid changes in the manufacturing environment.
Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate to both production teams and management about progress and problems including schedule attainment.
Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing leadership with proven, demonstrable results. Must have experience in light manufacturing environment including as working supervisor. Must be able to show management skills for 8-20 production workers. Must show ability to translate customer demand/schedule to actual work assignments.
